I had an amazing stay at this charming guest house. The value for money was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and close proximity to the town and local attractions. The staff treated me like family, providing warm hospitality and helpful guidance throughout my stay.
The breakfast option could have been more varied or had some additional choices.

This hotel is conveniently located near popular attractions such as Gregory Lake and Victoria Park. the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, offering a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. the breakfast served is a true Sri Lankan feast, and the owner's wife is a skilled cook who prepares delicious curry. the owner goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, offering free pickup and arranging transfers at a good price.
There is one aspect of the hotel that could be improved upon.

I keep coming back to my favorite place because it has everything I need: Wi-Fi, free parking, shared kitchen, and a 24-hour reception. The staff once helped me return my forgotten sim card. Perfect for my city break!

Charming house, lots of light, beautiful garden. Strategically located with easy access to main sights. Asela and his family are lovely, picked us up from the train station, cooked delicious breakfast. Showers were hot. Comfy bed in cold weather. Helpful hosts. Rooms have atmosphere.

I had a fantastic stay at the charming house in Nuwara Eliya. The host, Asela, was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing me with great recommendations for exploring the city. He even took the time to drive me to a tea factory during his work commute and picked me up afterward. The colonial-style house was clean and spacious, and the breakfast served was delicious. I also loved the hot showers, which were perfect after a long day of sightseeing. I highly recommend this homestay for its warm hospitality and convenient location.

The place had a sick chill vibe, perfect for us teenagers. We had the time of our lives exploring the nearby children's playground and getting our adrenaline pumping. The location was on fleek, close to all the cool spots like the town, the lake, and even a rad mountain for hiking. Highly recommend for a lit getaway with your squad!
The only thing we wished for was a banging party spot at Shirin1892. It would have been the cherry on top of our lit vacation.

Wow, let me tell you about this triple room at Shirin1892 in Nuwara Eliya! It's got a fireplace that creates the coziest vibes ever. Picture snuggling up with a book and a warm cup of tea - pure bliss! And the garden view is absolutely breathtaking. I can't even put into words how stunning it is. Plus, the soundproofing is a major game-changer. No noisy disturbances, just pure tranquility.
One thing I personally didn't love was the soundproofing. It's not a big deal, but I wouldn't mind a little bit of noise to remind myself that I'm not alone.

Free WiFi, parking, and a playground - perfect for the kids. The garden and shared kitchen were convenient. The airport was nearby, making it a breeze to get in and out.
Oh, I just loved everything so much that I can't think of a single thing to complain about! How positively dreadful.

My partner and I stayed at Shirin1892 for three nights and had a wonderful time. The colonial-style house exudes charm and the living room with a working fireplace was a cozy touch. We loved the breathtaking view of the tea plantations from our room, which was impeccably clean. The owner, Asela, was incredibly kind and engaging, offering insightful conversations that went beyond just Sri Lanka. The location was perfect, as everything we wanted to see was within a ten-minute drive. The attentive staff provided a late breakfast and even arranged pick-up and drop-off services to the train station. The tranquil garden added to the overall serene atmosphere of the area.
Would recommend this hotel.
